3 Cases of Erythrodermic Psoriasis with Korean Medical Treatment

Abstract
|
|
|
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Korean Medicine on erythrodermic psoriasis.
Methods : We administered herbal medicine to three patients who showed psoriasis. There were no other treatment except herbal medicine. And we evaluated the results by Psoriasis Area and Severity Index(PASI).
Results : After the treatment three patients showed improvements in PASI. PASI of patient 1 changed from 26.2 to 0.3 after 149 days; patient 2 from 40.5 to 5.8 after 106 days; patient 3 from 31.6 to 0 after 294 days.
Conclusions : The results suggest that herbal medicine can be an effective treatment for erythrodermic psoriasis patients.
